Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to ya! A wonderful time to be thankful for friends, family and TURKEY! Although, it always seems to be a bit dry, I'm hoping for something more moist this year…

Can't help but feel bad for the poor turkey above. Sorry little guy, I'm about to season you and have you on low in the crockpot till dinner time. Hopefully in another life turkeys won't have a thanksgiving where they get to cook us. How awful would that be? Let's forget I even mentioned it then.

I'm am so thankful for so much! I would name everything, but you may end up closing this tab. To get a gist of it all though, I'm thankful for:

Friends, the close and the far

Family, right here where I are

The basics, such as home, food and drink.

My brain, yay I can think!

My wonderful life

and Jesus Christ who paid the price!

Lastly, I am thankful for cats. Cats for sure…

Random Thought of the Day:

      When I get older, I'm going to have a daughter and name her Susan. I'm going to make sure she develops my slight-trait of laziness. Then, when it's dinner time she'll help me cook and I'll have her hold all my spices while I spin her around, looking for the right one. 

What a Lazy Susan….

It's Raining Legos!

     If I had to count how many Legos my brother owns, I wouldn't be able to calculate a total for days. By then, I'd have probably lost track.  Sure he has a ton, and as long as they're kept in HIS area, I'm fine with it! But when those little, hurtful Legos end up places they should NOT be, things will get crazy! 

     Imagine this: 

It's a cold day and all you want is a nice warm shower. You pick your fluffiest bath-robe, and make your way to the bathroom. You turn the water on lava mode, step in and...BAM! You just stepped on an unexpected Lego.  Now how does that relaxing shower look?

Down From the Trees

Down From the Trees

They’re off on vacation

to come back another season

A reason?

A reason.

For a break is all

I hope you didn’t forget,

We do call it fall.

They grab hold of the wind

and off they go,

They won’t make it very far but,

Shhh they’ll never know.

I suppose they may get 

to the other end of the street,

most find pleasure getting crunched 

by ones’ feet.

They enjoy their break and

their fresh new start,

they do love spring!

Especially the warmer part.

In Love With Four Wheels

This post is dedicated to our lovely car that has taken us many places! 

     When we first got it, it is safe to say I wasn't so fond of it.  Now, I grieve to watch it go! It will be leaving us tonight. It won't an easy part, that's for sure. I suppose I will get over it. But until then, Im in love with a body on four wheels! 

Fall>Oreos

I am seriously becoming overjoyed that the sun rises later.

I mean come on, I wake up at 8 and I get to watch it just peek over the trees! It's so beautiful!

Summer is great, by all means, but the leaves changing colors and the crisp weather of autumn is unbeatable. <3
